I noticed in the FAQ's that is says there is no PvP...that kinda sucks.
I really hope the gameplay is redeeming enough. Although, it is free...beggars can't be choosers eh?
They did say that they plan to add it in the future - maybe they'll add it before beta is over, who knows?

I don't know if they will be adding PvP in this game. It seems to go against the teaming up to do dungeons theme they have going. Also, I can see that implementing it into the game would be difficult.

Maybe not right away, but yeah, eventually it should be there too. :)

Maybe not right away, but yeah, eventually it should be there too. :)

I'm wondering if this will be some of the "pay for" content? I know that a lot of people really enjoy the PvP aspect, and I'm sure some would be willing to pay for it to be available to them.

That would be fine by me. I don't think I would play PvP even if it was added for free. I would probably try it once or twice, but PvP just ain't my bag.

They aught to have some consenting hostile type PvP. just step outside in a designated arena and settle your differences with a good e-scuffle.

My question for PvP in DR would be...Why?
What kind of reward would PvP harbor? Maybe that's what they're trying to decide.
Why would anyone PvP if there wasn't a point to it?
Maybe they'll create a ranking system with special in-game rewards each month for the top PvP'ers. That would be a cool reward, and a great incentive.

Just because peopel like to show off, What good is a pretty sword if you can't beat the snuff out of players without one. Personally I've yet to so a RPG's PvP top guild wars.

I agree. PvP in Guild Wars is great. But why? It's because there is a purpose. There is an actual PvP ladder, as well as Guild Vs Guild matches and ladders, and it's more fun than any other mmo I've played.
If DR has PvP similar to Guild Wars, then it will be AWESOME! We shall See!

Maybe they could just have an area where the players function as monsters. It would be kind of a mayhem though, since everyone will be running around wacking away at each other. Also, I'm afraid the only factor that will decide who wins will be the one that has the most potions.

Haven't played the game yet would love to although I could see PvP working if there is a reward to such as a ladder or what not or rewards you get from it that can be bought for items.
Would make PvP worth while and to be rid of the who has more potions make it so they can't be used and make a zone that is for PvP. Just some thoughts and ideas.
